Remodeling and redecorating can be a lot of fun, but there are always moments of the process that can be very stressful. Instead, think about things that induce relaxation, and a feeling of romance that you need to keep your relationship with your spouse or significant other alive and well.
Once you have thought of those things, your bedroom ideas should come to you rather quickly. You can go with dark colors and fabrics for a more romantic feeling if you choose, or you can go sunny and light. However, do remember to keep things sparse, uncluttered, and make your bedroom a sanctuary away from everything. You have the rest of your home for work problems, family time, and all that other stuff that can get in the way of relaxation and a good night of sleep. This is one room where your ideas can be all about you, so take advantage and make it all it can be. Think of beds, clothing, vanity (for some), and a nice chair to sit in. Other than that, you won’t need much else.
